Introduction

PowerontheMove is built on a proven system for delivering off-grid portable power through a network of independent agents and franchise partners. This policy explains how the franchise system works, what is expected from both sides, and what you should know before joining.

By applying as an agent or franchise partner, you agree to operate within the guidelines of the PowerontheMove system, brand standards, and operational model.

1. How the Franchise Works

PowerontheMove gives you the right to operate a local energy rental station using our brand, systems, and battery technology. You run a physical location (shop or hub) where batteries are rented out to customers for daily power access.

The business includes:

  • Renting and managing portable battery units
  • Operating from an approved shop location
  • Using PowerontheMove branding and systems
  • Providing customer support within your area

2. Setup Requirements

To start as an agent, you are expected to meet the following basic setup requirements:

  • A rented shop space for at least one year (secured before launch)
  • Initial setup capital of approximately ₦7,000,000

The startup structure includes brand onboarding, equipment setup, and initial stock of battery units.

3. Investment Structure

The initial investment is designed to cover setup, equipment, and operational readiness.

  • Brand onboarding and system access
  • Shop setup with off-grid power support
  • Battery inventory for customer rentals
  • Training and operational support

Additional battery units may be allocated depending on location demand and operational capacity.

4. Revenue Structure

Earnings are generated from battery rental usage by customers in your location. Revenue is shared between the franchise partner and the platform based on each rental transaction.

This structure ensures that income grows as usage and customer demand increase in your area.

5. Your Responsibilities as an Agent

  • Operate the franchise location responsibly and consistently
  • Ensure batteries are properly managed and secured
  • Maintain basic customer service standards
  • Follow usage and operational guidelines provided by PowerontheMove
  • Report issues or system faults promptly

6. Brand and System Use

All agents operate under the PowerontheMove brand and must use it only for approved business activities. The systems, processes, and operational methods provided remain the property of PowerontheMove.

You are expected to maintain the quality and reputation of the brand in your area of operation.

7. Ending the Agreement

Either party may end the franchise arrangement if operational standards are not met or if the business is no longer viable.

In such cases, equipment and brand materials must be returned, and operations must stop immediately.

8. Final Note

PowerontheMove is built for scalable energy access across communities. We look for committed partners who understand the responsibility of running a local energy service business.

This policy is a guide to help you understand what is expected before joining the network.
